Grant Awards from Susan G. Komen Nevada

Dignity Health-St. Rose Dominican's R.E.D. (Responsible Early Detection) Rose Program was recently awarded $250,000 from Susan G. Komen Nevada for the Cure, southern Nevada Affiliate for screening and support services.  The R.E.D. Rose Program addresses the problem of access to services by caring for clients who are uninsured, underinsured or otherwise unable to access medical care by providing screening, diagnostic mammograms and ultrasounds as well as treatment and supportive services.  The R.E.D. Rose Program is partnering with Susan G. Komen Nevada to save lives and end breast cancer forever by empowering people, ensuring quality care for all and energizing science to find cures.

St. Rose Dominican was also awarded $39,390 for WomensCare Center breast cancer programs and services, including support groups, breast prostheses and bra fittings.
