Marriott’s Grand Chateau will host its 2nd Annual “Golf Ball Drop” fundraising event
benefiting Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
The event will take place Monday, November 7, 2011, at the Boulder Creek Golf Course in Boulder City, Nevada.
For those of you wondering what is a “Golf Ball Drop?”
A helicopter will take all of the golf balls sold and drop them from 50 feet over the
driving range (aiming for a target); the ball closest to the pin wins.
First prize $1,000.00
Second prize $500.00
Third prize $250.00
Sun Dance Helicopters has donated a helicopter and pilot for the event and Boulder Creek Golf Course
has donated the use of their facility.
Our goal is to sell 2,000 golf balls to raise a total of $10,000.00. Each golf ball will cost $5.00
(there is no limit on how golf balls many a person can purchase).
