Siena named among Top 5% of hospitals in the nation for Patient Safety

Siena Hospital recently received the 2026 Patient Safety Excellence Award from Healthgrades. The award, announced during National Patient Safety Awareness Week, highlights hospitals that consistently minimize preventable complications and events during a patient’s hospital stay.

The recognition places Siena among the top top 5% of hospitals in the nation for patient safety outcomes.

Healthgrades evaluates hospitals nationwide for their performance in preventing serious, potentially avoidable complications during hospital stays. Siena was recognized for its performance based on an analysis of risk-adjusted outcomes across 13 specific patient safety indicators from 2022-2024.
